Hanna Vollenweider
Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Hanna is the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for Bright Future ABA in Abita, Louisiana. Although Hanna started her education in marketing, after being asked to provide 1:1 gymnastic lessons to children with special needs, she decided to change fields. She started her professional career at an ABA clinic in Baton Rouge as Registered Behavior Therapist. This is where she met the founder of Bright Futures, Marcus Hibbard. She went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and then proceeded to pass her boards exam to become a BCBA.

Hanna has experience working with clients as young as two and as old as 19 years old. This broad spectrum of ages has allowed her to gain knowledge of early intervention, school-aged therapy, and independent living readiness, and has given her the opportunity to work within the clinical, school, daycare, and home settings. The diversity of ages and settings gives Hanna knowledge and skills to best support your child, regardless of where they are at or what skills they are needing to work on.

Parent involvement is the key to any successful ABA program, because if skills learned in therapy sessions are continued at home, the child will benefit at a greater level and outcomes will be long-lasting. Since becoming a BCBA, Hanna has focused on finding a system that is most effective for parents. You can expect to be actively involved with your child’s ABA therapy plan. This will include watching sessions, receiving education, and learning to implement therapy techniques yourself.

We are very excited to have Hanna on our team. She is excited to be able to help kids in the Northshore area become the best possible versions of themselves.
